Meet Muffin
Muffin was our first pony. He had a slight injury last June so is currently resting. He will get going again in the spring.

So I refitted the radiator and all is well. However now the brakes are playing up! New piece of brake pipe required.
Soon this will be a new tractor, its had so many new bits added!
Emma plus friend are at a pony club rally at Milton Keynes Event Centre this morning.
Rosie is having a tennis coaching session at Brackley Tennis Club (sounds grand but its low key fun really)
Mum is being a logistics manager, getting them to and from the venues on time!
Im off out again, six horses to look at this afternoon. Seen six this morning, one interesting case. More on that later in Dentistry category.
Ten 30 litre fermenters and 10, 5 litre demijohns bubbling and popping away make quite a musical noise!
Though the two in the kitchen are driving everyone mad!!!
Quick riding spin with the girls then off to launton with Cassy to look at 3 horses. Saw local legend Billy Evans! Billy is a farmer turned countrty singer and quite a local character!
He played for us at last years Westbury Wallop cider evening!
Smudge is great for teaching the kids to ride. He belongs to some friends of ours who lent him to us for one week (pony club camp). That was last July and he is staying for the winter!
We have given them half a lamb for the freezer fresh off the farm as bribery!
Riding with the kids is really special. Emma(7) and I went for a ride round the farm then back to do some jumping. First time Emma has jumped in canter. Only small jumps(about 40cm) but great to see
Mum cheered from across the field!
Turning round in the road I managed to get the car stuck on the hump of the grass verge!
Couldn’t move it so tried jacking it up and putting stones under the wheels, still no good!
Luckily ‘Dick’ came along in the tractor(He works on my brother in laws farm) and pulled me off. Most people do this sort of thing in the snow don’t they!
Been to one of my long standing clients, Karen.
I remember when she first contacted me wanting five horses looked at and it was an hour away! It seemed like such a big deal then.
Karen is typical of quite a lot of my clients
They leave school, go to college, get a job, lose a job, get married, get divorced, have kids(in or out of wedlock!) etc etc.
Only one thing remains constant throuhgout all this – They always have a horse !!!
